The Huntsville Simulation Conference (HSC) will hold a conference and
exhibition in Huntsville, Alabama on October 22nd and 23rd at the Marriott
Hotel. The HSC is sponsored by the Society for Modeling and Simulation (SCS)
and hosted by the Alabama Modeling and Simulation Council (AMSC). The HSC
expects to draw about 200 participants, primarily from Huntsville and the
Southeastern states.
The HSC exhibition will have fifteen, 10x10 areas available for displays in
the Marriott pre-function area outside of the ballroom at $495 each. There
will be one, 20 amp electrical outlet (bring your own powerstrip) for any
power needs. Telephone and internet connections are available only by prior
arrangement with the hotel. The pre-function area is the location for
registration and refreshments during the meetings and a wine and cheese
party held for all HSC participants on October 22nd. Exhibitors will be
listed in the HSC final program distributed to their respective
participants. Exhibitors (and their web sites) will be listed in the HSC
conference proceedings CD and on the HSC web site if
exhibitor registration is completed by September 9. Exhibit booth locations
are assigned on a first come, first served basis.
Exhibits are open only to HSC participants. If you want to invite customers
to see your exhibit, you should forward them a copy of the HSC conference
registration form.
Any personnel in the exhibit area will need conference registration badges
as either an exhibitor or a conference participant. (Unattended exhibits are
permitted.) An exhibitor registration fee of $50 covers two lunches, and the
wine/cheese party in the exhibit area. Alternatively, you can register for
the full HSC meeting if you wish to gain access to the meeting rooms for
presentations.
I hope you will consider coming to Huntsville for the HSC conference and
exhibition. Please contact me if you have any questions.
