ICSiE06 provides a forum for discussion and presentations focusing on the development of a curricular body of knowledge, accreditation criteria for simulation education, and the use of simulation tools in education and training. This year we will offer a session dedicated to the development of the body of knowledge in modeling and simulation for undergraduate and graduate education. We will propose models for undergraduate modeling and simulation education, propose an accreditation approach and criteria, examine certification within the university model, and explore the differences in US and European simulation education structures and needs.
