Summary

Based on a dynamic model that simulates the behavior of TCP °ows and active queue management (AQM) scheme the real time control law is introduced as a congestion avoidance mechanism for real time applications. The algorithm proposed monitors the state of the router and executes in real time a suboptimal control maximizing throughput, minimizing packet losses and congestion.
