SCS Membership—FAQ

SCS is the premier technical Society dedicated to advancing the use of modeling & simulation to solve real-world problems; devoted to the advancement of simulation and allied computer arts in all fields; and committed to facilitating communication among professionals in the field of simulation. To this end, SCS organizes meetings, sponsors and co-sponsors national and international conferences, and publishes the SIMULATION: Transactions of The Society for Modeling and Simulation International and the Journal of Defense Modeling and Simulation magazines.

SCS is continuously improving the services provided to its members. A FAQ on membership has been created and will be included in each issue of the newsletter. Success of the I3M Conference

I3M 2011 was successfully held in Rome, September 12-14 together with the NATO’s CAX forum. The I3M attendees had access to all unclassified session of CAX Forum; the CAX Forum attendees were also enabled to attend I3M Opening and Plenary Presentations. Special joint panels, demonstrations and exhibitions will were organized and included in the program of these two major events that brought together around 600 people from Academia, Industry, Agencies and Military Service.[]
